The traditional production method of 2202 silicon metal is mainly smelting production, that is, after washing, screening and drying of raw silica, according to the type of reducing agent used, petroleum coke or asphalt coke with low ash content is usually used as reducing agent. Use corn stalks, reed stalks, straws, wolfberry stalks, flax stalks, etc. instead of charcoal, turning waste into treasure. The relevant test results show that corn straw is rich in nutrients and available chemical components, such as more than 30% carbohydrates, 2%~4% protein and 0.5%-1% fat, which reduces the cost of enterprises and realizes resource recycling. By adding the useful elements contained in the above-mentioned agricultural wastes, the above-mentioned wastes are reasonably proportioned to replace charcoal and other raw materials in the industrial silicon smelting furnace to produce 2202 silicon metal that meets the requirements of users. Compared with the traditional production method, the production of 2202 silicon metal by this method greatly improves the utilization rate and protects the environment.
